What To Expect From Your Family Photoshoot

I think there was once a big stereotype about family photoshoots, how they are cheesy, posed and rigid. I aim to fight against this stereotype with my photography by capturing natural, candid moments of you and your loved ones. 

Before your photoshoot we will chat about what you would like from the day and we will only do what you are all comfortable with, if that's no formally posed photos, no problem. 

I use a long lens which means I can keep my distance. I find that this helps my families to relax and feel at ease as it isn't overly obvious that I am taking your picture at all times. This was you can all be yourself, enjoy each other's company and I will be capturing every moment.

Locations to suit you! 

When it comes to photography, it really is all about you and that's why I like to let my families choose where they would like their shoot- perhaps you have a special place or would really like photos whilst on your favourite family walk or fun family day out.

Natural and Unobtrusive 

For me, catching those candid moments of pure joy, happiness and love is what's most important. I like to take an unobtrusive approach with my photography and allow my families to do what makes them feel most comfortable, but of course I'm there to offer any guidance if you need it.
